Attached to the Project Management, you are the guarantor of the operational deployment of our HSE policy. Your mission is to translate our commitments into a reality of "zero accidents" on the ground and to ensure absolute compliance with the requirements of our environmental authorization.

HSE management of the site: You structure and lead the operational HSE organization (prevention plans, work permits, co-activity management, security reception). You are the HSE authority on the site.

Team management: You supervise and develop the HSE team dedicated to the project (engineers, site coordinators).

Transition to operations: You are actively preparing the HSE transfer to future operations teams (documentation, training, reception of facilities).

Main missions

  • Guarantee of regulatory compliance: You ensure the scrupulous follow-up of the commitments made within the framework of our ICPE file and other regulations (Labor Code, ATEX...). You are the privileged interlocutor of the DREAL, the Labour Inspection and the CARSAT for the construction phase.
  • Management of contracting companies: You manage the HSE performance of our subcontractors, from their selection to their daily supervision. You lead the HSE committees and challenge the action plans.
  • Field leadership: You embody the HSE requirement through a strong and visible presence on the ground. You conduct audits and inspections, and ensure that safety is everyone’s business, at all levels.
  • Risk management and performance: You supervise the effective implementation of safety barriers resulting from risk studies (HAZOP, LOPA...). You ensure the reporting (KPIs), drive the analyses of causes in case of event and feedback (REX).

Your profile

  • Engineering degree or Master 2 with a specialization in HSE, Industrial Risks or Process Engineering.
  • Professional experience:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in HSE management, imperatively acquired on complex industrial projects (chemistry, petrochemistry, energy, pharmacy or heavy industry).
  • You have proven experience in managing construction sites with high co-activity stakes (BTP interfaces / equipment assembly).
  • You have already managed HSE teams on the field.
  • Imperative fluent English (daily working language for technical documents, meetings and reportings). 

Technical Skills:

  • Expertise of French regulations (ICPE, Labor Code, ATEX...) and their concrete application during the construction phase.
  • Mastery of risk analysis methodologies (HAZOP, LOPA...) and site management tools (permits, prevention plans).
  • Solid knowledge of ISO 45001 and 14001 management systems.

Interpersonal skills:

  • Assertive field leadership and ability to unite multicultural teams.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, able to communicate at all levels (from companions to management).
  • Rigor, proactivity and ability to make decisions in a demanding environment.
  • Strong results orientation and 'zero accidents'.
