Job description
Reporting to the Project Director, you are the 'boss' of the construction site. You turn engineering plans into industrial reality, ensuring safety, deadlines and quality until the handover of the keys to the start-up teams.
Main missions
1. Management and coordination of the construction site
Supervise the daily site activities (structural work, MEP, installation, VRD, etc.).
Coordinate the teams of construction engineers (civil, MEP, installation) and the OPC providers.
Ensure the planning and monitoring of work progress, in connection with the PMO.
Participate in site coordination meetings and project monitoring.
2. Safety management, quality and compliance
Ensure the strict application of HSE rules in collaboration with the HSE Manager and the HSE agency.
Ensure compliance with technical and environmental standards.
Manage the management of risks and opportunities related to the construction site.
3. Monitoring of costs, deadlines and performance
Contribute to the control of the construction budget in connection with the Cost & Budget Specialist.
Identify gaps and propose corrective action plans.
Participate in regular reporting to project management and the operational committee.
4. Interface and communication
Be the main contact point on site for subcontractors, AMO, control offices and partners.
Coordinate interactions between the different technical batches and support teams (procurement, PMO, process, etc.).
Ensure smooth communication between the site and the project headquarters.
5. Environmental management and local constraints
Supervise the environmental compliance of the site with the support of the environmental AMO.
Manage local relations (authorities, inspections, public services).
Your profile
- Engineering degree in civil, building, construction or equivalent engineering.
- Additional training in project management or HSE would be an asset.
Professional experience:
- Minimum 8 years of experience in large-scale industrial site management. Greenfield project experience is essential.
Technical skills:
- Proven experience in multidisciplinary coordination (civil engineering, MEP, VRD...)
- Knowledge of EPC or MOE/MOEX procedures assessed
Strong project management and planning skills
Interpersonal skills:
- Rigor, autonomy, team spirit;
- Ability to work in a dynamic project environment.
