Neomat represents the alliance of two leading industrial groups in their fields, French-Chinese, Orano and XTC New Energy, joining forces to meet the growing needs for cathode material production and the recycling of production scrap and end-of-life batteries.
The creation in December 2024 of two joint ventures, CAM (Cathode Active Materials) and PCAM (Precursors for CAM), answers to the strategic ambition of Orano and XTC New Energy to jointly develop in Dunkirk (Hauts-de-France, France) a competitive value chain for battery materials, serving the European electric vehicle industry.
