From September 30 to October 3, 2026, a new edition of La Fabuleuse Factory took place in Dunkirk on Place Jean Bart. For Neomat, this marked its third participation alongside other industries and organizations in the Dunkirk area.
Over the course of four days, more than 3,000 young people from 120 classes, accompanied by 240 teachers, had the opportunity to meet with professionals to learn about industrial projects and their specific characteristics, and discuss careers of the future.
For the Neomat teams, it was a real pleasure to share knowledge, offer hands-on demonstrations - such as one illustrating the role of materials in batteries - and answer the many questions asked.
It was also an opportunity to highlight that the year 2026 is becoming a reality with the ongoing construction of France’s first plant for manufacturing Neomat CAM active cathode materials. This major milestone illustrates the ambition to build a more self-sufficient and sustainable battery industry in France. And that’s something that interests our young people :)
This participation was made possible thanks to the organizers of Ecosystème D, and took place in the shared dome alongside other regional stakeholders, such as Electro_Mob Vallée de la Batterie, Prologium, RTE, Verkor, and IMT Nord Europe.
Thank you also to our colleagues who made this happen: Kun Victor Duan, Cécile Crampon, David Huang, Xin Liu, Clotilde Lugoy, Nathalie Bonnefoy, Philippe Hatron, Thomas Xantippe, and Ingrid Jonvel.
